Once upon a time, a Southern California funk princess named Paula went out to buy herself a new car. "How about one of those kicky little SUVs," she thought. The deal was done. But just before they handed her the keys, she noticed the tire cover proudly advertising the dealer. She shrieked in horror, "That’s hideous! Do you have anything else?" Their response was a negative grunt. "Now that just won’t do," she thought. So, Paula began to search…and search…and search, but to her dismay, there were no tire covers that befitted her or her car’s personality.
Being a clever gal, she thought, "Harumph, I’ll just make my own." And so she did. Friends and family squealed in delight, "How fun is that! You should sell those." Alas, she thought, "I’m creative and clever, but sadly I have no head for business." Thus, another good idea bites the dust. But then one day, not long after, Paula met fellow funk princess Danielle, who has a knack for raising up such ideas and giving them a life of their own. When Paula retorted her usual "I don’t have a head for business," Danielle exclaimed, "I do!" and the rest is history.
Paula and Danielle currently reside in Los Angeles where the roads are long and the SUVs abundant. Addicted to TireCandy, Paula accessorizes her RAV4 with the latest product design. Danielle is currently trying to figure out how to mount a spare tire on the back of her Buick.
